Travel Customer Support Advisor

Newcastle area

Up to £16,000 (Dependent on experience)

A well established independent travel company are seeking a Travel Customer Support Advisor to join their successful and growing company.

You must have experience working within the travel industry and have a high level of customer service, great problem solving skills and can organise and prioritise effectively. You will be primarily responsible for assisting with travel customer queries and liaising with suppliers to resolve any issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Dealing with customer queries by telephone and email
  • Dealing with suppliers to fulfil the client query
  • Monitor any urgent client bookings and action timely
  • Processing ad-hoc client payments
  • Action in-resort issues as quickly and as effectively as possible with the customers and suppliers
  • Updating bookings and line manager with progress

Skills/Qualities Required:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised but with structure
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
  • Team player
  • Computer literate

Please note this is a Full time, Permanent role which involves working a rota over 3 shifts covering the 7 day per week opening hours from 8am to 10pm.
