Experienced shopping Centre Operations Manager is needed for a Shopping Centre Operations Manager role in the West Midlands area. This is a varied role and involves working at senior level within a destination Shopping Centre. You need strong management skills (ideally gained within a shopping centre environment), have strong FM & shopping centre operational management experience, able to make decisions, be a confident people person, proactive attitude and have excellent budgetary management skills. This role would suit an experienced Shopping Centre Operations Manager living in or looking to relocate to the West Midlands area.

  • Manage security and cleaning contract and car park.
  • Manage, set & prepare operational service charge budgets
  • Set and manage operational processes & customer service
  • Manage corporate responsibility objectives and community involvement within the centre.
  • Manage the statutory and mandatory training.
  • Manage incidents and emergency plans, manage contingency plans.
  • Ensure that all operational activities comply with statutory legislation.
  • Management of the health and safety management systems.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with employees throughout the centre, retailers, contractors, key contacts in the local community and key emergency services.
  • Manage and support tenants ensuring appropriate compliance to their leases and relevant license's.
  • Assist retailers/ tenants in the event of an emergency breakdown or malfunction.
  • Ensure close liaison with the Technical Services, Tenant Liaison, Marketing and Commercialisation teams to understand operational involvement and requirements for events and activities.
  • Monitor and manage customer service standards of the tenants and the centre team.
