A highly successful man contractor have a new and exciting opportunity for a Building Services / Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator to join the M&E installation team across sites in the Midlands and surrounding areas.

We offer the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the industrial, automotive, commercial, education and health sectors on new build and refurbishment schemes up to £50M. A large proportion of work is awarded on a repeat order basis and sustained growth sees The Company continuing to secure further work in the Birmingham / Midlands region.

    Essential Qualifications

  • HNC/HND/BSc in a Building Services / M&E discipline subject

Duties will include:

  • Coordination of multiple M&E subcontractors undertaking the installation work

  • Ensuring the Programme is monitored and react to issues my managing labour, information and quality

  • Issuing weekly progress reports

  • Attend weekly progress and coordination meetings, taking and issuing minutes of the meeting

  • Attend weekly coordination meetings with the build team

  • Undertake Health & Safety inspections

  • Review and approve RAMS for M&E contractors

  • Attend weekly design meetings

  • Undertake quality inspections using SnagR to manage quality issues

  • Maintain quality files

  • Assist with Commissioning

  • Assist with Handover documentation
