Manager - Risk Strategy (Acquisitions & Retention) - Fintech!
Up to £90,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits Package

THE ROLE & TEAM

The Risk function supports payment solutions help customers fulfil needs, whilst also safeguarding their finances. Alongside this, they develop and implement risk strategies to help the organisation control and achieve the business requirements

Main Responsibilities and Tasks Include:

  • Manage a team of 3-5 Senior and Lead Analysts
  • Manage performance monitoring and forecasting
  • Interact with directors and board level across the business to share performance, opportunities and analytics
  • Coordination of key projects will require interaction with members across the acquisitions and retention business teams as well as senior risk team members across the organisation
  • Identify performance trends and design strategic solutions that mitigate the risks observed
  • Proactively identify areas within acquisitions that can be improved (either through effectiveness, efficiency, improved outcomes or better controls) and design and deliver plans which implement these improvements


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Commercial and Strategic mindset
  • Management experience (including team performance management and development)
  • SAS background
  • Credit Risk background - ideally collections but not essential
  • Proven track record managing and leading small hands-on teams
  • Ability to translate and communicate analytical findings to non-technical audiences
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
