An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst for Unilever's Maille brand. The role will be based at Unilever prestigious global headquarters at Victoria Embankment, Blackfriars. This is a temporary role to start ASAP and expected to run for 6 months. The salary for this position is paying up-to £39,953 depending on experience.

Maille is an exciting brand with ambitious growth plans to be met by 2020.
Taking into account the brand's iconic history and its potential to become a premium, everyday luxury Food brand, a key growth driver will come through non-standard channels for Unilever - standalone boutiques and digital ecommerce (an online version of the boutique, allowing global access to the brand)

Given the unique business opportunity, the digital and ecommerce team has launched eCommerce websites in France, UK & US, and is now responsible for the ongoing trading of the websites - creating and delivering a traffic-driving marketing plan, delivering digital marketing content to support the offline business and developing the websites to be best in class.
This role is to deliver against our strategy and win; we need to start understanding and putting consumer behaviour at the heart of everything we do. To do this we need a data analyst to turn our data captured across multiple platforms into actionable insights at a high frequency. Working as part of the broader DTC organisation, supporting both Boutiques and eBoutiques:

Key Accountabilities:
*Build and manage consumer digital data set up, capture from multiple channels/tagging and platforms (Demandware/Bronto/GA) to build and manage strategic consumer segmentation model (Recency, Frequency and Monetary Value). This will inform everything we do.
*Build and manage product mix analysis per channel for core and seasonal segments (PI and NPI), integrating boutiques insights to drive our innovation funnel, improve existing portfolio and help build better forecasting with marketing and supply chain.
*Conduct daily analysis to inform weekly trading activity and reporting leveraging Demandware, Bronto/GA , TCPOS and POS System:
*Demand Analysis: Product sales and inventory and range analysis by consumer / product segment and markets. Identify trigger products that lead to greater sales, top performing and low performing products, identifying gaps and opportunities to act upon across our growing spread of channels, as we enter digital DTC
*Channel Analysis: Paid, Earned and Owned media channel CPA/ROI analysis. Manage test cell set up and benchmarking to robustly identify ROI. Deliver cost per acquisition model determined by return consumer segments will deliver, sharply focusing BMI investment on the areas that will yield the best return and modelling potential to ensure we can robustly scale the business
*In store activation : analysis to measure ROI of all activities in store linked to activation (GWP, PWP)
*Conduct promotional activity analysis to test and set the optimum offer threshold to maximise volume and margin across all markets and within these, maille.com and new Digital DTC marketplaces and Affiliates (New for 2017). Critical to meet overarching business targets.
*Deliver broader analysis for business reporting and modelling as required, working with finance and marketing team eg market entry or exist analysis
*Support new business case analysis eg subscription, new products, new categories, gifting bundles, personalisation etc

Skills & Experience:

*Ecommerce or marketing operational experience
*Logical thinker with 'data mindset'
*Solid foundational data manipulation skills
*Clear potential, would benefit from exposure to senior colleagues
*Educated to degree level (Maths/stats, computer science, engineering)
*Highly knowledgeable in statistical techniques such as
Profiling & Indexing
Behavioural & Attitudinal Segmentation
Decision Trees (CHAID) & Regression
Correlation & Factor Analysis
Time Series Analysis & RFV modelling
Churn Modelling & Basket Analysis
*Experience of using SPSS & SAS (basic usage, data manipulation)
*SQL basic usage
*Strong Excel skills
*Strong user of PowerPoint and keen eye for data visualization

Secondary Traits ('nice to have'):
*VBA
*Web analytics - Google Analytics, Webtrends, Adobe etc
*Knowledge of social analytical tools - Crimson Hexagon, Sysomos etc
*Knowledge of search tools - Google AdWords, Linkdex etc
*Knowledge with 3rd party ad-serving platforms - DoubleClick, Mediaplex etc.
*Experience planning & delivering CRM campaigns (Email / SMS marketing)
*Experience co-ordinating the introduction of a new internal service or capability at a major organisation.
*Passion for the social & digital world and its implications for business
*Eager to grow within Unilever and move around the business (career path likely to be within wider analytical pool)
*Appetite to learn the 'art of the possible' and then capitalise on this in next role
