Due to company expansion, a great new opportunity at Gibson & Ryan Electrical Services Ltd has arisen for an Electrical Estimator Manager to join their award winning team.

Job Title: Electrical Estimator Manager
Location: Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL6 7PB
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 p.a. + Benefits
Hours/Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Electrical Estimator Manager - The role

- Understanding and scrutinising project specifications and drawings
- Developing and retaining existing customer and client relationships
- Carrying out site visits and surveys
- Undertaking personal visits for sales development and negotiation
- Negotiating tenders with main contractors
- Measuring and take offs for materials and labour
- Complete tenders within short timescales, common return period between 1 and 3 weeks
- Identifying and presenting tender qualifications and exclusions
- Producing value engineering solutions
- Understanding and scrutinising sub-contractor quotations

The role is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and offers a salary up to £50,000 p.a. depending on your level of experience. The role also offers excellent career progression opportunities, pension scheme and company car scheme.

Electrical Estimator Manager - What you’ll need

- BTEC ONC in Electrical Engineering
- City & Guilds Level 3, 17th Edition IEE Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection (preferred but not essential)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
