My client, based in Bracknell, is currently recruiting for a skilled Facilities Management Consultant to join their team.

My client is specialist Construction Company who provides a range of building services and operates throughout offices in the UK, France and USA for example.

Job objective:

The position has become available within a department which offers design validation services of physical mock up testing and drawing reviews. The investigation services help building operators maintain and operate their buildings more efficiently.

This role will provide a range of technical consultancy and support services and will be a senior position within the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide fact based guidance and consultancy services that help those involved in designing, constructing and operating services in buildings
• Carry out a variety of project work within own area of technical expertise including site testing and investigation services
• Undertake site visits and liaise with clients
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Support the updating of companies guidelines
• Provide technical support across the company’s networks
• Deliver technical presentations
• Develop concise and accurately cost efficient proposals to meet clients needs of research objectives

Key Skills & Knowledge:
• Hard services facilities management including maintenance strategies and asset management principals
• Professional/academic Degree in Facilities Management or related Building Services discipline
• Experience of working within a quality system ensuring good record keeping to ISO 9001
• Advanced report writing skills
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Good knowledge of client relationship management
• Project Management skills and experience
• Risk Management
• PC literate (e.g. Microsoft Excel and Word)

Salary for this role is paying around £38k per annum, depending on experience and skill set.

The role is mainly office based, in Bracknell, on a 37 hour week; Mon to Thurs 8am-5pm and Fri 8am – 4.30pm.
