Job Title: HR Advisors

Location: City of London

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000

Evolve Recruitment are seeking a HR Advisor for a reputable organisation based in London. They are looking for a pragmatic, organised and hands on HR Advisor with minimum 3-5 years' experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a HR role within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsibility to ensure that HR operational issues are dealt with correctly, in a timely fashion, and delivered to the required standards.
* Acting as the first point of contact for Employee Relations issues and ensuring that the company policy is implemented consistently across their nominated BU's
* Act as a primary contact for all Operational issues within their BU's.
* Monitor, report and advise on performance of functions for which they are responsible
* Demonstrate significant experience of successfully managing the co-ordination and delivery of end to end Operational issues across their BU's
* Strong experience of dealing with difficult and complex HR issues and third party referrals
* Production of accurate and detailed reports
* Experience of working in a constantly evolving, complex, matrix environment
* Ensuring work is acted on effectively in order to meet deadlines and support critical work
* Develop and ensure a best in field Operational model to ensure the prompt, effective and fair implementation of Company policies
* Ensure On-Boarding and payroll processing is accurate, timely and managed effectively whilst continuously implementing process improvements to minimise inefficiencies within their nominated BU's

Key Skills:

* CIPD Level 3,5 or 7 (preferred but not essential)
* Experience of Employee Relations in complex, matrix organisations with strong operational experience
* Up to date knowledge of Employment Law (Desirable)
* Substantial knowledge of dealing with employee relations including Disciplinary, grievance, sickness management, capability, terminations
* Knowledge of Technical Environments, with preferred experience in the Construction Industry, Civil Engineering, Rail and OLE (not essential)
* Substantive knowledge and experience of effective HR processes
* Knowledge of project management and delivery
* Experience of writing and implementing policies, procedures & guidelines
* Intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel and HR databases
* Must have the intelligence to be able to comprehend complex situations and make the correct decisions / judgments in a quickly changing environment and to tight deadlines.
* Credible influencer and Trusted Advisor that uses a combination of HR knowledge and commercial experience to influence and gain commitment from all stakeholders
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrable problem solving skills and dealing with conflict in challenging situations
* Demonstrate credibility and confidence in the HR field
* Ability to offer support to the HR team when needed
* Articulate and competent negotiator
* Hands on and gets things done and is passionate about delivering the best support possible
* Demonstrates determination, resourcefulness and purpose to deliver the best results.
* Decisive thinker who demonstrates the ability to analyse data/info quickly and present reports effectively
* Have the capacity to operate holistically and strategically when required
* Be able to influence Key decision makers / senior stakeholders
