We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to create and develop a new series of titles for a prominent London B2B media group - your ability to connect with a professional audience is key to them.

You will be working for a well-established, independent, international and expanding publisher. The company publishes magazines on a global scale, holds a variety of websites and also specialises in conferences, awards and exhibitions.

They like to look after their staff and promote from within. The opportunities for career growth are huge for their employees who show initiative and dedication.

The Role
This is a great opportunity for a talented, driven, creative sales person to make their mark in this fantastic company. The key tasks of the Business Development Manager include:
Leading and motivating a sales team to achieve and excel at sales targets
Attracting and keeping a new client base by selling products for different media solutions
A creative approach to selling across associated products including creative solutions
To develop and build upon strong client relationships within the industry to ensure that clients objectives are met and revenue targets are exceeded
To report, budget and forecast on a weekly and monthly basis

The Candidate
The key attributes of the Business Development Manager include:
Have 5+ years sales experience within a b2b publishing environment
Have a proven track record of hitting and exceeding media sales targets
Experience of selling at all levels coupled with excellent presentation skills
A great understanding of b2b publishing its products and the ability to match them to clients objectives

This role is based in London and paying up to £50,000 + uncapped com + bens OTE £65,000+.
