My client is a well-established chemical manufacturing company based in Trafford Park, Manchester supplying the petrochemical industry worldwide.

Due to massive expansion and growth, they are now recruiting for 3 Graduate Account Executives ( 1 German speaking) to join their busy sales team.

Role Purpose

• Support the Sales & Marketing department in meeting customer needs and improving the customer experience.
• Support the Regional Managers and Account Managers in achieving department objectives and targets.
• Develop strong working relationships and communication with other departments.
• Look for and implement process improvements to continuously improve performance.

Main Responsibilities and Competencies:

1) Customer Account Management responsibility for designated customers including:
a. Setting and achieving objectives and sales targets (volume, turnover, profit) through internal sales efforts in line with the Company Business Plan.
b. Making a positive contribution to the generation and maintenance of sales strategies and objectives for designated countries and customers in line with the Business Plan.
c. Establishing and maintaining a sales forecast for designated customers in line with the Business Plan.

2) Provide internal sales support to Regional Managers for designated customers including:
a. Maintenance of accurate Sales Forecasts.
b. Handling customer enquiries and quotations.
c. Management and preparation of Company responses to tenders issued by customers in designated territories.
d. Management of customer supply agreements and contracts.
e. Managing and reporting customer feedback.
f. Ensuring new customers are set up and maintained on the customer database with all required information being recorded correctly.
g. Support Accounts with credit control duties when requested.
h. Developing and implementing Company brand strategy and creating new sales and marketing materials.
i. Update colleagues and Management with commercial issues, market and industry trends, and other information informally, at relevant meetings, or by written analytical reports.
j. Maintain and improve the standard of all written and electronic information, presentations, and other general sales and marketing materials made available to customers.
k. Liaise with Technical on new product development and introduction.

3) Ensure that customer standards and requirements are clearly understood and being met and that the Company standards for Customer Relationship Management and Customer Service are maintained in all dealings with customers. Work with Customer Service to resolve customer queries and keep them informed of key customer issues.
