his is not a hard-sales role – it is all based on inbound calls! If you are looking for a role where a hard-working candidate with passion for travel, has the potential to bring in £50,000 -£60,000 per annum, this role within the Travel industry may be the one for you. This role is focused on responding to enquiry calls from customers and does not involve any cold-calling. You will be involved in maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers, listening to customer requirements, promoting different travel options, negotiating terms of the holiday and closing sales, responding well to any objections with a view to encouraging the customer to buy and cross-sell where necessary. You will be working to targets as part of a positive, flexible and driven travel sales team, making accurate calculations, providing customers with quotations and producing accurate administration to complete booking process.


Applicants should be self-driven, hard-working, results-orientated with 1-2 years previous telephone-based sales experience, ideally in travel or a busy call-centre environment. A positive outlook and a clear focus on service-quality and business margins are needed and the role will suit a natural forward-planner who evaluates his/her own performance. In exchange for the high financial reward, there will be the need to work extended hours when required by the needs of the role and this will sometimes involve a day over the weekend with time off during the week. We are looking for an excellent communicator with the money-motivation to succeed. Own transport and current license are also required and a particular interest in travel could also be beneficial.
