Account Director - Top 30 Automotive Dealers in the UKHome Based - Covering the UK (fortnightly travel to Berkshire)

Having Consistently achieved double digit growth globally, our client offers a full range of automotive products which enable their OEM and franchised dealer partners to consistently sell more vehicles whilst being able to adapt to the ever-changing buying behaviour of the retail customer.This success has seen the business develop rapidly and recently they received investment which has provided the business with the oxygen to focus on their next stage of growth in both the UK and Europe. The newly appointed leadership team bring a wealth of critical industry experience to the table and in line with the growth plans they have already invested significantly in the brand, supply chain, systems and infrastructure.Passionate about the value of their products, the portfolio of their client base covers OEM and Dealer groups from around the world. It is this quality of product and passion for hard work that has enabled them to build an impressive customer base that has spanned for over 20 years.As a pivotal part of the UK business they're now looking to hire an Account Director who can develop new business with the top 30 car dealerships in the UK. About the Role: Reporting to the Head of Sales this role would suit a natural hunter who can get in front of senior decision makers with the top 30 automotive dealer groups in the UK. You may have been a network development manager or sales operations manager on behalf of a OEM but essentially you will need to have the drive and desire to win new business with the top AM30 dealerships.Building networks and developing long-term relationships with the car dealerships the successful candidate will focus on the following:
* Pro-actively seek and identify opportunities to acquire new business with top 30 dealer groups in the UK.* Provide weekly reports on sales and prospects activity through managing by the numbers.* Leverage existing relationships, lead client negotiations and relationships.* Deliver against targets as agreed with the Head of Sales.* Develop Territory plans and implement winning strategies to secure new business across the UK.* Pipeline management and reporting.Maintain CRM systems and ensure all prospect, opportunity, meeting minutes and relevant information is uploaded within agreed timescales.* Identify key sales opportunity and develop sales strategy for all products.
About You: Our client is looking for a talented, driven individual who has extensive new business experience within the retail automotive industry, who has strong commercial/financial awareness and a proven track record of developing and fostering new external networks via relationship management techniques.
* Extensive new business experience from within automotive software or technology.* Strong commercial and financial awareness.* Proven track record of developing and fostering new external networks via relationship management techniques.* Experience of providing creative and innovative software solutions for clients.* Ability to recognise new highly profitably opportunities, with the tenacity to follow through and secure the business.* Demonstrates a proven track record of significant achievement of new business opportunities.* Demonstrates advanced presentation skills that are tailored to the needs of the audience.* Experience of identifying, leading and coordinating virtual teams.* Fluent in business English language - written and verbal.
