B2B Sales Programming Director, based in Central London, to develop new business with brands through commercial content streams within this well known broadcaster. This will involve the management, delivery, and monetisation of high profile, sector specific, news programmes that this broadcaster produces in partnership with national associations and leading bodies both in the UK and overseas. The successful candidate would demonstrate a proven track record of new business development, boardroom level communication skills, the ability to research, learn and understand industry-specific issues, a highly organised approach to developing partnerships and a strong interest in news and current affairs.

£40,000 OTE 99K+Bens

KEY tasks/responsibilities:

* To adhere to the companies values and work within the company ethics
* Achieve set revenue targets monthly, quarterly and annually
* Research and develop an in-depth knowledge of multiple industry subjects
* Personally create and organise a base of new prospects for different projects
* Engage decision makers (typically CEO, Managing Director/head of sector) using email, phone, and face-to-face
* Objection handling negotiation and closing
* Continually generate ideas to improve the production process and help build the business unit
* Develop account management skills with a view to manage clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and develop repeat business with them on an ongoing basis in the future.
* Report weekly to the Sales Director on revenue targets, forecasts, client satisfaction, and new business opportunities

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

Experience of selling Editorial Focused products from either B2B Publishing or Business Information with at least 5 years and have experience of closing deals of £15,000
