Our client, a business media company specialising in exhibitions and festivals is looking for an Events Sales Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be an exemplar for team standards and behaviours and a pro-active force in a driving sales excellence. In this role, you will be working for a company where you will have the opportunity to learn, stretch yourself and take ownership of your own portfolio on a growing event.


* Ensuring maximum delivery against sales targets by converting new and existing business
* Retaining and growing existing accounts with smart sales tactics focused on growth of order volume, value and average yield
* Ensuring the volume of new business drives sustainable YOY growth
* Hosting clients at black-tie award ceremonies and attending all internal industry events
* Monitoring competitor activity and understanding the market forces influencing the sector
* Working cross functionally with other departments and stakeholders including marketing, editorial and sponsorship to build relationships and further drive revenue
* Maintaining a robust and ambitious sales plan

Preferred Skills and Experience:

* Minimum one year of previous experience in a similar role
* Proven and successful track record of a consultative new business approach
* Degree Educated
* Interest in Technology or Environmental Science is preferred, but not essential
* Experienced CRM user (preferably Salesforce)
* Previous experience with a structured sales training method such as DIPIDA
