We have an exciting opportunity for a First Line Support Advisor to join a successful and established company in Manchester City Centre. This role will be primarily responsible for working on a Client Support team which is responsible for first level IT support to clients. We are seeking a 1st Line Support Advisor with exceptional communication skills for clients and an individual who has the ability to understand problems and attempt first line resolution. If you are unable to solve the issue, you will be able to follow the clients protocols and escalate the issue or problem to 2nd line and 3rd line support teams to resolve the issue.

Key Requirements for 1st Line Support Advisor:
Must be able to respond promptly to customer support enquiries via phone, tickets and emails
Highly organized to maintain an orderly workflow according to client priorities
Record new client account details and maintain existing account records at all times
A strong team worker who can work alongside technical teams to resolve issues
Must be able to maintain a high standard of verbal and written correspondence with customers
Strong data entry skills and can keep a shared client database updated with clear and concise notes

The skills and experience we are looking for in a 1st Line Support Advisor:
Highly motivated to keep learning and developing your technical skills and knowledge
A proven background in a customer service environment, must be able to deliver excellent service at all times
An analytical mind with a Strong eye for detail
Will be willing to take ownership of customer issues and follow any problem through to a successful conclusion and resolution
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
Experience of working on a fast paced IT helpdesk is a major advantage
Software and Hardware troubleshooting experience required
Ideally experience in helpdesk ticketing systems such as Zendesk or Jira- happy to consider any helpdesk ticketing experience
