Premier Pathways Trainee Geography Teacher

We are currently looking for a Geography Graduate to join a well-backed secondary school in Central East London; this role offers exciting progression which will lead to you being awarded a PGCE with QTS and a permanent teaching position at your training school.

Premier Pathways is a 2-year graduate to teacher training programme whereby you will receive support and expert direction to become a confident, fully qualified teacher holding a PGCE and QTS. You will start off employed as a support within the schools’ Geography department; initially working as an Academic Mentor you will develop your own teaching style, learn behaviour management techniques and gradually start to plan and teach your own lessons!

• £15,000 pa training salary
• 2-year school-based teacher training programme
• Gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE from the University of Buckingham

To be considered, you must be a competent Geography Graduate who possesses a love of learning and a non-questionable desire to progress students throughout their studies. To apply for this position, you must be a Geography Graduate with a minimum 2:2 or above subject related Honors degree.

This Geography Graduate post will begin in September, at a forward-thinking and award winning secondary school located in Central East London. Geography Graduates enrolled onto the programme will be supported by an experienced school based mentor and by the Premier Pathways team throughout the duration of the 2-year programme.
