Humanities Graduate | Salaried Teacher Training Programme | Central East London | September 2017

A superb secondary school and sixth form are searching for ambitious Humanities Graduates to join their team and train as Humanities Teachers through the Premier Pathways PGCE Programme.

These opportunities are available to Humanities Graduates who have qualified with or have been predicted a 2:1 or above Honours degree in a Humanities based subject.

Premier Pathways is a 2-year graduate to teacher training programme whereby you will receive support and expert direction to become a confident, fully qualified teacher holding a PGCE and QTS. You will start off working as a support within the schools’ humanities department; initially working as an Academic Mentor you will develop your own teaching style, learn behaviour management techniques and gradually start to plan and teach your own lessons.

• £15,000 pa training salary
• 2-year school-based teacher training programme
• Gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE from the University of Buckingham
• Dedicated participant support team and in-school mentoring
• Regular peer networking opportunities

We are looking for Humanities Graduates who:

*** Have a desire to train and become an Outstanding Teacher
*** Have a strong academic record and experience working with young people
*** Have strong subject knowledge
*** Can challenge themselves and those around them to excel

These Humanities Graduate opportunities are available to start in September at a forward-thinking and award winning secondary school located in Central East London. Humanities Graduates enrolled onto the programme will be supported by an experienced school based mentor and by the Premier Pathways team throughout the duration of the 2-year programme.
