Regent Group is an educational group based in north-west London. It was established in 2000 and comprises multiple enterprises including Regent Independent School and Sixth Form College, providing education for students from Key Stage 3 to A-Level in Rayners Lane, Harrow, Regent College Higher Education, offering students Edexcel Level 4 and Level 7 programmes, Regent Skills Training, offering a variety of vocational courses , Burlington College, a centre for private candidates in Wembley, Regent Learning Centre, a tuition organisation with three local branches offering supplementary educational programmes in traditional and online formats, Regent English Academy offering a variety of English programmes to adults, and Regent Nursery School, a nursery offering childcare for children aged two to five.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Responsible for Management Accounting & Analysis, for Management and operational use



Management Accountant - to assist the Group Finance Manager:

1. Preparing financial statements and year end accounts
2. Making sure spending is in line with budgets projections
3. Analysing Regent Group financial performance and making longer term forecasts
4. Providing information for internal & External Audits
5. Working with all Functional heads, SBU Heads and the management team to help make financial decisions

Person Specification

Newly qualified or passed finalist in relevant accounting qualification

Desire: Studies or Accounting degree.

Experience and Knowledge
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a management accountant covering all aspects of Profit & Loss accounting, forecasting & budgeting and experience of managing staff.

Skills and Abilities
High level of computer literacy – needs to be a proficient user of financial systems & competent in the Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint.
Advanced Excel skills including look- ups, pivot tables and use of advanced formulae.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confident dealing with colleagues of all levels, including Executives.
Ability to analyse, interpret and provide insight & commentary on financial reports
