Salary: £8.50 to £10.0 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)

Location: Westminster, London

Hours of Work: 28 hours per week - Monday to Friday (between 7.30am – 18.30pm)

The job role:

• Planning and leading exciting activity programmes for children, using resources provided by Fit For Sport
• Motivate and inspire children aged from 4 up to 11 years of age
• Managing and looking after your site
• Report weekly to head office on site performance and compliance
• Oversee the auditing of resources and requests for replacement and new resources
• Managing, developing and mentoring a team which consist of Activity Leaders and Activity Assistants
• Engage with parents and teachers on a regular basis in order to maintain relationships and have the opportunity to engage more children through physical activity

Requirements for the role

Desirable:

• Be well organised and demonstrate strong leadership and management skills
• To be able to work effectively in teams and as an individual, always maintain a professional approach to work
• Be a positive role model at all times and have the ability to make learning and work fun

Essential:

• Experience supervising children in a school or a leisure centre environment
• Minimum of Level 2 in Sports Coaching, Activity Leadership or Child Care (relevant degree routes accepted).
• Possess managerial background demonstrating planning and coordinating skills
