A Head of Marketing is now required to lead all marketing activity for my client, a group of award winning, luxury businesses located across beautiful Suffolk. Responsible for targeting new and existing opportunities to grow business in line with board objectives, which you'll support with dynamic strategic and tactical marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:

*Be responsible for the strategic marketing activity and create a plan to meet the growth objectives of the business.
*Oversee and support the delivery of a marketing strategy which incorporates clear e-commerce and social media objectives which are in conjunction with more traditional marketing methods.
*Communicate the strategy to sales/marketing colleagues to integrate activity and ensure consistency across the Group.
*Develop and implement a strategy for growing on-line sales, including through web conversion (on and off line), database growth, CRMS etc.
*Plan and manage marketing budgets in line with the expectations of the Board.
*Develop a close and structured working relationship with the business partners to identify mutually beneficial opportunities for growth.
*Use knowledge, competitor and market analysis to identify potential new products and services which could be included in the medium/longer term growth and marketing strategy.
*Oversee all marketing activity to make sure that it is targeted appropriately and preserves brand integrity for all of the Group's brands at all times.
*Prepare and present marketing budgets; reports and strategies to internal and external colleagues as appropriate.
*Provide detailed marketing analysis for the board, use data and trends to evaluate and if necessary adjust sales and marketing activity.
*Lead and manage the team so that each individual has clear objectives and is motivated. Agree targets and service standards.
*Promote the exchange of ideas and information by carrying out regular team meetings. Keep everyone in the team up-to-date with relevant information enabling them to work as efficiently as possible.
*Carry out regular performance reviews and keep colleagues up-to-date.
*Clarify and maintain a clear relationship between the individual brands and that of the Group.
*Identify the most appropriate balance between in house and external resources to deliver the marketing strategy to the standards required by the board.
*Manage external consultants/agencies to ensure best value for money
*Agree a set of clearly measurable marketing KPIs that contribute to the achievement of the annual budget and to meeting the board's objectives.
*Contribute to the work of external marketing organisations whose work clearly benefits the Group.

Person specification
Experience
*A successful marketing track record, ideally gained within a B2C travel or hospitality environment although other industry sectors will be considered.
*Management and leadership of a small team
*Marketing and brand management experience (inhouse) clearly linked to delivering a sales strategy for growth
