Alex Tosney is recruiting for a EDI Application Support Administrator to join a medical devices manufacturer. The candidate will be working on site in Southampton on a 9 month fixed term basis to start with.

The EMEA EDI Application Administrator would act as the key interface with customers for all production issues.

As a EDI Application Support Administrator,you will be responsible for the following:
-Act as a point of contact for all EDI applications issues, to maximize the effectiveness of existing processes/systems.The position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day EDI production processes in addition to supporting team objectives.
-Primary EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) contact and escalation point for the sales offices supported by the EMEA EDI team. Providing EDI end users with a direct point of contact for all regional EDI issues in order to identify risk and mitigate issues that may impede exceptional service.
-Ensure that any new software integration meets functional/end user requirement, compliance and interface specifications, and proper documentation is maintained.
-Develop/execute effective test scenarios, scripts and use cases with consideration to cross functional and process stream impact where necessary.
-Analyse test results in order to determine root cause and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues; as they pertain to service issues.
-Oversees small projects and/or tasks and phases of larger projects to advance team objectives as required

The ideal candidate will have the following Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Relevant Qualification and experience of working with key stakeholders(both internal and external)
- Should have a flexible approach to afterhours support as required.
- Should have experience of carrying out projects/analysis/tasks as assigned within a similar working environment.
