An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently looking for a Senior Brand Manager - Personal Care/Laundry based at Unilever's prestigious Head Office in Leatherhead. This is a full time, temp role for 6 months, paying up to £55,315.44 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

Role Profile
You will be working on the laundry category across brands such as Persil Comfort & Surf - 3 of the biggest brands in Unilever's portfolio. You will manage and grow the brand(s) for the cluster/market in an independent way through activation, renovation and brilliant implementation of innovations. The Senior Brand Manager ( SBM) is responsible for the brand's P&L including budget management and will deliver the growth ambition targets on the brands (market share, volume and turnover growth).

The SBM translates understanding into insights on both consumer, shopper and retailer level.
The SBM will have a strong competitive mentality that translates in brand plans to win penetration and overall gain market share and delivers perfectly integrated plans that cover both the In Home and Out of Home channels.

Main Accountabilities:
*understanding into insight- bring consumer, shopper, customer and channel insights into the organisation and the team to translate this knowledge into actionable activities,
*strategy, plans and brands- conduct strategic reviews and audits of the brand using all the available analysis tools, set a strategy, Jobs To Be Done and develop the brand marketing plan,
*gatekeep the innovation management process, develop sound business cases and turn numbers into real life flawless execution that fit perfectly with the brands,
*create communication with the media agency and as part of the Business Planning Process, select the right communication channels, create briefs for the creative agencies,
*In-Market Activation- develop detailed brand activity plans and lead the cross-functional teams, develop price and promotion strategies in collaboration with the category managers, work closely with customer development to ensure listings and great POS visibility and develop and execute the communication plan in market,
*tracking and optimizing-measure results against internal and external KPI's and adapt where necessary, closely track your allocated budget.

Capabilities/Skills:

What we really want from you is the passion and drive to get the most out of this role. It will also be necessary for you to have experience in, and be great at, the following:

*Experience in developing disruptive growth plans, strong knowledge on PR, social and digital media, experience in "premiumisation" and knows how to translate it to a fast moving environment,
*Knows how to deliver a real brand experience through design, display, POS, shop in shop and events, brand management or product marketing experience, people management experience and social Media knowhow
Pragmatic strategic thinking: blend brand, consumer and business to form executable strategy
*Exceptional project leadership skills, including strong influencing skills and confidence with senior stakeholders whether global, regional or local
*Innovation experience at either regional or global level
*An entrepreneurial and 'can-do' approach, able to work with and unlock change and complexity
*Experience of converting consumer insight into winning concepts
*Managing teams and talent
*Working well with others and in particular, diverse groups of people across geographies and through virtual teams
