Concord Education are looking for an experienced SEN teacher to lead a small school of up to 5 students, located in between Manchester and Warrington.

The School

Students are 8 – 19 years of age and all have a combination of Autism, SLD, SEMH and complex health needs. The school is located in a purpose built premises and benefits from an on-site, residential children’s home and the use of a farm, owned by the school’s parent company for additional off-site provision. An outreach, community based approach is used for those who do not respond well to the classroom environment.

A recent Ofsted report rated this school as being “good” in all areas, with an “outstanding” rating for personal development, behaviour and welfare. Management were said to be successfully delivering their vision, excellent relationships existing between students and staff, maximising student self-esteem and effectively managing behaviours and teaching & learning is said to be good for all ages, with an exciting curriculum offered.


The successful candidate will be an experienced SEN teacher, who is able to demonstrate the ability to run a small ASD provision. They will require an understanding of:
• Independent special school leadership
• Meeting Ofsted standards and regulations
• Meeting government / DfE legislation
