Training Advisor / Assessor Hospitality - London

Do you have a real desire and passion to help people take control of their education, career, health and their future? I have a position available for a Training Advisor / Assessor in Hospitality.

We are currently seeking a Training Advisor / Assessor, to create bespoke lesson plans for a caseload of learners. We are looking for candidates with experience in Hospitality.

Essentially you will be supporting learners based in the London area towards maximising their full potential.

Role Objectives

With a passion for working with others and supporting learners towards maximising their full potential, you will take responsibility for managing a caseload of learners. Creating a bespoke and meaningful lesson plan and the schedule of learning to support and motivate learners towards achieving qualifications. By stretching their learning, increasing their knowledge and capabilities and supporting them while they evolve intellectually and professionally.

Key accountability's

Working closely with internal and external key stakeholders, while delivering a range of quality provisions, you will follow CQA code of practice and or the agreed procedure for any awarding bodies.

Train, asses, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving qualifications including Apprenticeships and NVQ's within a sector specific area and in a variety of locations and environments / organisations.

Promote, believe in and deliver training in accordance with industry guidelines and the company's core values, including the promotion of equality and diversity in all lessons. In addition all Training Advisers must maintain appropriate Health and Safety documentation during visits and remain vigilant to any safeguarding issues which may arise and escalate in accordance with the company's training policies and procedures.

Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved training materials, promoting standardisation. Using approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.

Maximise the use of e- learning and using a variety of assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge in a variety of ways.

Utilise the use of learner's lesson plans to record and endorse the journey the learner has undergone towards achieving their qualification. This along with all other documentation should be completed accurately and timely to support the overall business objective and also to ensure all materials are available on request for audit purposes.

Achieve all monthly, quarterly and annual targets in the most costs effective method while actively promoting the services offered by training and capitalising on any business development opportunities.

Maintain employer involvement throughout the programme and encourage all parties to actively use the online portal (Learning Assistant) to record activities and also support the learner during their qualification.

To improve employer support and involvement, training advisers should issue all parties with log in details, including employers so they can asses and view their staff's progression at any time during the qualification.

Essential Competencies

* Assessing and delivery of Work Based Learning Qualifications
* Skills in delivering e-portfolio learning
* Time management
* Attention to detail
* Ability to multi-task a range of responsibilities
* IT skills, particularly MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access
* Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Customer focused
* Positive and dynamic with the ability to think on your feet and solve problems
* Strong organisational skills and having the ability to keep accurate records and carry out administrative duties

Experience

Proven track record assessing within delivery areas i.e. Customer Service, also skills within assessment process and understanding awarding body procedures would be advantageous.

Qualifications

TAQWA or equivalent, diploma in the advertise delivery area also IQA would be advantageous.
