CNC Setter, Operator, Programmer – Milton Keynes
3 months’ temp to perm24,000 Per annum This is an opportunity to make successful contacts with a small yet fast expanding company in Milton Keynes. This company make bespoke machinery for a multitude of industries but specifically they have a large order for a major player in the automotive industry. They need a CNC Programmer to come in to assist with the build of these machines. This company have lots of orders on the order book so they have the need to expand the team. They are small business with a friendly none pressured working atmosphere. They are looking for an CNC programmer that has some understanding of Master Cam. Day to day responsibilities of the CNC programmer / setter / operator
Working with the design engineer you will receive the 3D Cad Design and 2D production drawings*
Taking the data and programming the CNC machine in 'real time' - e.g. typing in co-ordinates and pressing send.*
This is done using Master CAM.*
Programming Vertical milling machines; which are Hurco 3+2 axis machines.*
Setting and opertaing manuel machines - machining components for manafacture. (Important)
The CNC Programmer will need to have to following skills and experience
Some online cnc programming experience.*
Specialist tooling experience.*
Master CAM programming.
