SEN Teacher required for the SEN Provision of a College based in Central London. The provision meets the needs of young people and adults with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties.
The SEN provision at the college is committed to providing a motivating and friendly educational environment and there continually exists an excellent relationship between staff and children. If you are an empathetic SEN Teacher/Lecturer with experience working with SLD or PMLD children, young people or adults then we would like to hear from you. As an experienced SEN professional, you should be a creative individual with the ability to plan and teach your own lessons.
The role is open to Newly Qualified SEN Teachers or Lecturers who are looking for a college to complete their inducation into teaching. The Head of SEN provision is very experienced and supportive, so a great place to progress your career.
The provision offers on-going training that will give the successful SEN Teacher the opportunity to develop innovative patterns of classroom practice. You will benefit from the provision's state-of-the-art facilities and exceptional in class support provided by the dedicated and skilled staff team. There is wide-ranging contribution from the multidisciplinary team including speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, as well as a highly experienced team of SEN teachers.
The post is to start in September 2017 but there may be an opportunity to start sooner if you are available.
