Our client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor possessing a Multi-Skilled Maintenance background in order to oversee the preservation of the production environment, coach develop and train existing operators and machine setters.

The role / Responsibilities

A vastly fast paced thriving environment, requiring successful candidates to flexible in their approach and attitude.

Training setters, operators upon new equipment, new procedures.
PLC fault finding (not essential) sensor fault finding and testing
Maintenance of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, machine setting and stripping
Decreasing production downtime and related quality issues related to machinery circumstance, you will be required to arrange planned and preventative routines and undertake necessary corrective actions
Maintaining as a safe, secure and productive manufacturing area
To participate in fault finding, diagnostic and corrective actions to maintain and improve the operation of the process equipment
To act as incident coordinator (on shift) in the event of major breakdowns / incidents requiring the involvement / call in of other maintenance and support services to conduct and support as directed by the Engineering Leadership, engineering and other improvement projects, and to pro-actively contribute to the development of safety, productivity and quality
Taking ownership of materials and costs, new part orders to the discharge of engineering duties.
Successful Candidates will require

Engineering supervisor / management experience within FMCG
Electrical or mechanical maintenance background
ONC / apprentice trained (minimum)
Sound Electrical skills
Maintenance of high speed production machines (ideal)
PLC experience preferred but not essential
Demonstrable expertise in component and sub-system fault finding and reporting
