OHLE Delivery Manager – 90k+ Permanent (Preferred)/ £(Apply online only) per day Contract - London

We are working with a world leading engineering provider who are delivering a multi-project programme in conjunction with Network Rail within the OLE environment. You will have the opportunity to engage with the client, drive commercial activity and lead project operations throughout the project lifecycle from pre-delivery to post construction.

The individual will be accountable for the delivery of the entire C610 OHLE scope - across all four Zones and will need to ensure it is delivered safely, to the required quality standards whilst achieving the required MOHS schedule objectives. This will involve working seamlessly with the C610 Main Contractor, to successfully deliver the OHLE scope of works throughout the entire project-phase, including design, procurement, construction, and T&C.

Role Description

The successful candidate will have experience delivering all phases of the project lifecycle within the Rail environment and will have skills and experience including;

- Accountable for the safe, timely delivery of all c610 OHLE scope, to budget.

- Lead frequent reviews to assess and drive progress and performance, with an absolute focus on quantities to go, install rates and forecast completion dates.

- Manage work within the established budget and MOHS schedule.

- Monitor and control all OHLE contractual commitments to ensure that work is being performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings and terms of the contract.

- Ensure OHLE scope, design basis and objectives are defined and prioritised, best practices/lessons learned reviewed, detailed work plans, schedules, budgets and procedures are established. ensure processes are streamlined and fit-for-purpose.

- Coordinate interfaces with adjacent and/or follow-on contracts or other systems.

- Administer the project contract in accordance with established policies and NEC guidelines, including timely use of EWN’s.

- Co-operate with Crossrail in all matters relating to health and safety, including following safe working procedures at all times.

- Act as a role model for Crossrail’s vision and values, behaving in ways that are in alignment with Crossrail’s ways of working. encourage and support others to do so too.

- Promote equality in the workplace and adopt appropriate behaviour when interacting with colleagues.

- Leading teams in both design and delivery capacities

- Technical understanding of the ole environments as well as knowledge of the nec3 form of contract among others

- Knowledge of construction activities related to the rail sector including scope definition, resource schedules, performance management and value metrics

- Strong academic background including relevant degree and ideally chartered status

- Ability to develop and train junior members of staff and manage client and stakeholder expectations

You will be working in collaboration with other members of the senior management team to deliver each phase of the project and will be required to manage the team across multiple office and site locations. In conjunction with the OLE Head of Discipline, you will also engage with other programme Leaders – such as those from Crossrail – to ensure best practice and efficient project delivery is achieved.
