We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to recruit, manage, retain, and develop a network of local businesses, individuals, and media contacts to help deliver fundraising targets for a fantastic local charity.
Reporting into the Development Director, you will lead on the delivery of a number of community linked fundraising targets for projects within the East End. Using methods including social media, you will communicate with supporters to build relationships and develop their engagement to increase opportunities for people living in Londons East End.
To grow and manage corporate partnerships successfully to achieve income for The Foundation across all available income streams donation, employee fundraising, corporate fundraising
To deliver/design employee fundraising opportunities for corporate partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximising income potential.
Lead on the production of various forms of marketing and events for engaging with current and prospect donors including materials, newsletters and social media.
Manage and increase membership of the foundations business membership scheme to agreed financial targets, recruiting new members and liaising with the Development team on all business opportunities.
Lead on the roll-out of the payroll giving scheme to all Business Members, current donors and prospective corporate donors.
Relationship management support the Development team to implement an engaging donor stewardship programme to engage prospect donors and maintain relationships with current donors.
You will possess great communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with a variety of people at different levels. You will have a sound knowledge and ability in fundraising and customer relationship management as well as having a strategic mindset.
The successful candidate will be skilled in the use of social media and CRM systems to engage with high profile supporters, prospective donors and other stakeholders.
At least 2 years of sales/fundraising experience or other transferable experience of securing new business in a commercial sales environment.
Strong networking capabilities.
Strong organisational skills.
Highly motivated and commercially astute.
