Housing Case Manager

Location: Commutable from South West London, Wimbledon, Balham, Earlsfield, Battersea, Putney and Mitcham.

Type: 6 Month fixed term contract. Monday - Friday 40 hours per week.

This organisation is a reputable and forward thinking company who work across London. They are currently experiencing a sustained period of growth and they are looking to add to their successful property management team in their South West London office

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily duties of your role as a Housing Case Manager role include; lease management, tenancy management, inspections of the properties/estate, liaising with tenants, land lords and stakeholders and landlords, carrying out tenancy audits and the investigation of Anti-Social Behaviour. The office based work will also include; writing letters and writing reports, completing consultations and updating records.

This role is a challenging one, and because of this, previous experience as a housing case manager is paramount. Key skills will need to include the ability to deal with difficult situations and cope under pressure with a calm attitude. Written English must also be of a high standard, with intermediate (at least) IT skills. The experience of the use of IT systems would also be preferable. This is a customer facing role and the client takes pride in it's customer service levels.

This rewarding but challenging role will be office based, however it will include travelling around the area due to the role being responsible for a large portfolio of social housing properties. Because of this, a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is required.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Strong experience as a Housing Case Manager
  • Strong background in Social Housing
  • Access to a vehicle.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least an intermediate level of IT Skills.
