Full Time Teaching Assistant Bristol required for Sept 2017

Your new company
An alternative provision school in Bristol has exciting full-time opportunities available for Teaching Assistants starting September 2017. This school is dedicated in supporting their students by providing them with proactive, personalised approach to learning to help them achieve success in their future.

Your new role
This exciting opportunity has become available to work closely with pupils aged 14-16 and aid them with their learning development. You will need to be sensitive and adaptable with your approach when assisting the pupils and act as a role model to them. You will be monitoring and responding to pupil's individual needs, whilst providing encouragement for them to become independent. You will also be responsible for planning activities, assisting the teacher in preparing the classroom and work confidently 1:1 and leading small groups of students in areas such as IT, Maths and English.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will to display passion and dedication in working with pupils to aid their engagement and development. . You will need a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent for Teaching Assistants and a Level 2 in Maths and English. You will preferably have experience working with students who have challenging behaviours and be able to display excellent communication skills, as well as good organisational and administrative ability.
