Concierge (Waking Nights)

Position: Concierge Waking Night Worker 
Location: Bournemouth 
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent 
Hours: WK 1 - 34 hours over four nights WK 2 - 25.5 hours over three nights 
Salary: £17,000 per annum (FTE) + benefits 

Closing date: 12 noon Friday 30th June 

About the role: 

As the Concierge you will ensure the premises are safe and secure, managing anyone trying to enter the unit. As well as supporting the upkeep of the building. 

Responsibilities: 

- Be responsible for the health, safety and welfare of all individuals whilst on duty 
- Document interaction with people receiving a service from CCP, ensuring that professional, non-judgmental and adequate information is recorded during every shift 
- Carry out cleaning tasks as required, ideally identifying without prompts 
- Complete welfare checks on anyone that hasn`t returned to the unit and adhere to Policies regarding this 
- Undertake regular checks of the building and log any concerns or repairs 
- Liaise with external agencies and internal staff members if required 
- Safeguarding is everyone`s business, there is an expectation and a requirement that staff will pass onto the CCP Designated Safeguarding Manager any child welfare concerns that may arise in the course of their duties 

Essential Skills / Experiences: 

- Completed or willing to complete the level 3 NVQ in health and social care or equivalent 
- Ability to communicate with vulnerable young people or adults 
- Enhanced DBS check (Willing to undertake ISA Registration) 
- Full driving licence - desirable 

Desirable Skills / Experiences: 

- Relevant professional qualifications 
- Demonstrable achievement in a support worker 
- Experience of working with young people 
- Experience of working with Social Services 
- Experience in managing difficult and challenging behaviours
