Sam Stewart is recruiting for a Process Operator to join a global pharmaceutical and veterinary health manufacturer. This is a contract position on a rolling 6 month basis.

As a Process Operator the main purpose of your role will be to provide support for the day to day running of the production facility.

Further responsibilities of this Process Operator position will be:
· Operations: Complying with cGMP requirements by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and accurately documenting activities.
· Maintenance: To include planned and breakdown maintenance to comply with GMP, safety and environmental requirements to ensure equipment performance and process continuity are maintained.
· Problem solving: Use experience and diagnostic skills to identify equipment and process problems and identify modes of failure and/or deviations and/or root causes.
· Documentation: Complete records accurately and in a timely fashion e.g. Batch Production Records (BPRs), Work Orders and transactions in SAP.
· Improvement projects: Assisting with the installation and upgrading of plant equipment. Assist with the development of operating procedures.
· Safety: Operate and maintain in accordance with the EHS department. Reporting of EHS incidents and participate in root cause investigations and identification of countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
· Information Technology: Use process control system and business systems to support administrative tasks
· Training: Own a training plan, share specialist skills and information gained through experience to others.

As a Process Operator, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
· Previous experience in running process operations in a cGMP manufacturing environment
· Previous experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar industry (chemical, food etc)
· Good working knowledge of EHS and cGMP standards.
· Strong learning agility with the aptitude and desire to learn new systems, processes and skills
· Flexibility and openness to move to other operator positions as required based on business needs
