The company have recently expanded their European Operations and are now seeking a Regional Sales Manager with a focus on continued sales growth across the defined territory
 
The Role
 
Required to ensure effective efficient running of the sales location Provide leadership and guidance to dedicated teams responsible for delivering Sales & GP targets in line with budgets

Responsibilities
 
Provide direction motivation and leadership to the sales team responsible for delivering service within the defined Account portfolio
 
Escalation point for any customer issues and liaise with relevant management of Finance, A/R, Operations, Quality, HR, Legal, Marketing and Purchasing on an inter-departmental basis to ensure appropriate corrective action.
 
Collate and issue all monthly forecasting of Sales & GP for your locations.
 
Hold monthly sales reviews with location team to review past month performance and set goals/ expectation for coming month.
 
Implement and control all aspects of account assignment for primary and developmental accounts.
 
Assume direct ownership of all aspects of business with regard to nominated major accounts and projects
 
Work in liaison with the Business Development Management team to ensure target account focus is consistent with Location objectives.
 
Explore and ensure implementation of improved processes that will facilitate continuous improvement to our performance and aid customer satisfaction.
 
Review P&L on a monthly basis with regard to Sales, GP and expense performance versus plan. Liaise with Business Partner on any issues, initiatives to improve earnings capability.

Requirements
 
Previous Sales man management experience gained in the Industrial Product distribution and Engineering supply sectors
Track record in leading, coaching and driving either internal or external sales teams
Product Knowledge across some or all of the following – PPE, Safety, Power Transmission, Maintenance Tools, Machine Tools, Valves, Actuators, Pumps and Drilling Equipment
Multi Sector Sales experience across Industrial, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine and Shipping, Offshore Wind and Renewables

This is a full time position based in Great Yarmouth
