About the role

AMT-SYBEX is a leading provider of consultancy and systems integration to the UK utility, energy and transport industries. The Operations Co-ordinator is responsible for delivering a range of support functions to a high standard, within the boundaries of strict confidentiality. What you will do:

Resource management:

*

Processing project delivery focussed resource bookings;
*

Resource planning and forecasting to ensure there is sufficient resource to meet demand;
*

Allocation of project management and consultants to projects;
*

Liaising with Sales, Operations and Project Management for resource allocation and balancing resources across the whole project portfolio;
*

Taking proactive measures to maximise utilisation of resources and minimise "bench" time;
*

Taking proactive measures to review resource bookings and forecasts for bookings to ensure they are as accurate as possible;
*

Processing and communication of changes in bookings e.g. sickness / absence;
*

Balancing and managing resourcing conflicts and clashes.

Reporting
*

Producing routine MI reports and outputs associated with the resourcing process;
*

Preparing and producing any ad hoc reports related to the resourcing process;
*

Delivering improvements and changes to the existing suite of reports using MS Excel and SAP;
*

Responding to queries raised regarding the reports.

Your experience will include:

*

Previous experience of working in a busy office environment with the ability to capture, process and communicate complex information;
*

Experience of processing and responding to problems proactively, positively and timely;
*

Ability to work autonomously and under pressure;
*

Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of managing multilevel relationships;
*

Strong MS Excel skills: advanced preferred;
*

Strong written and verbal communication skills;
*

Attention to detail and numeracy skills;
*

Reliability and commitment.
* Extensive experience of using MS Excel, Access and other tools for management information and reporting
