We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At The Scout Association we are currently looking for an Events Manager to join the team based in Gilwell Park, London. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £39,479 per annum inc OLW plus fantastic benefits.

About the Events Manager role

This is a rare opportunity to undertake the role of Event Manager in a fast moving and exceptionally busy team.  The Events team are responsible for delivery of a number of high profile and prestigious National events including an annual Review of Queens Scouts at Windsor Castle.  This role is also responsible for working with teams of volunteers and staff to oversee the delivery of several large scale International events involving up to 4,500 UK participants at a time.

What we’re looking for in our Events Manager

You need a passion for working with people and willingness to work in partnership with volunteers to develop and deliver large scale events both in the UK and overseas.

You will be an innovator, a good communicator, an extremely competent project manager with experience of managing and leading teams - who wants to make a real difference.  You will have extensive experience of successful delivery of large scale high profile events and management of large budgets with a willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
