Developer - .Net/SQL - London (City) to £45k

Our client are looking for a mid-level developer with experience in the .Net/SQL stack to join their sizeable yet close knit team on a permanent basis, working on various exciting projects from their London office in the city.

You will work closely with local and global peers, making key customisations of our online wealth management platform. Your skills should include the ability to define, discuss, present, influence, and communicate technical solutions and changes, make decisions and be driven to deliver the best software user experience and extend our wealth management product functionality.

Skills & Requirements (Minimum of 3 years)

• Experience with financial investment platforms.
• Strong MS SQL and .Net experience (SQL2014, Visual Studio etc)
• Understanding of financial services, specifically the investment arena
• Dev world is .Net, VB.Net (primary skill), C#, HTML5/JS, MSSQL/NoSQL, Angular/JSON
• Experience working in a complex environment
• Web & systems security concepts
• Taking ownership of solutions and code quality
• Microsoft Azure experience would be beneficial
• Care about user experience and nice software
• Think Lean, analytics and data
• Experience of RESTful APIs and a Microservices architecture is a plus
• Eager to learn and willing to bring ideas to the table
• Able to analyse and make recommendations for general improvement
• Experienced within agile and continuous delivery environments are a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment where things can change daily in a good way
• A passion for IT and software technology – continually learning and encouraging the latest and greatest
