Our client is currently looking for a Finance Assistant for an exciting permanent position. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further their skills as excellent training and study support will be offered.

JOB

This job will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Processing purchase ledger invoices ensuring appropriate authorisation and coding is obtained and all suppliers are paid by due dates
  • Process the payment of expenses
  • Petty cash reconciliations and reimbursement
  • Processing and posting banking received
  • Process bank receipts and payments daily ensuring they are coded correctly
  • Build relationships and maintain good communication with fellow employees
  • Any other duties as appropriate to the post

YOU

You will be skilled and/or qualified in the following areas:

  • Skilled in carrying out the tasks listed
  • Purchase ledger skills are essential
  • Some sales ledger knowledge would be beneficial
  • A good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Good team player
  • Candidates studying towards or planning on working an accounting qualification would be preferred
