Holt Executive are actively working with a leading Electronics Manufacturing company in Bournemouth who are looking for an Estimator to join their well-established business.

Reporting to the Estimating and Configuration Manager, the Estimator will serve a pivotal position in the companies' progression. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately calculating the total costs associated with electronic manufacturing using good supplier relationships, on line sourcing and raising times through discussions with the Engineering function.

Key Responsibilities as an Estimator:

* Carryout initial bid assessments for suitability.
* Achieve a 5 day turnaround for re-quote activity.
* Maintain and adhere to all company estimating processes and procedures.
* Work in conjunction with the Estimating and Configuration Manager and the EDC team to continually refine and drive improvements into the current Bid process.
* Liaise with all functions within the business ensuring all relevant data and customer supplied information is shared within the business.
* Maintain good working relationships with the Account Team and constantly update on bid progress.
* Provide key stakeholders with an early view of cost drivers and long lead items where possible.
* Produce detailed accurate estimates ensuring any materials used are identified for MOQ's, RoHS compliance, lead times, obsolescence and alternatives are offered for approval.

Skills and Experience required as an Estimator:

* Experience of working in safety critical environments to demanding standards such as AS9100 & NADCAP.
* Experience of traceability requirements in the mil-aerospace environment.
* Progressive track record within an Electronic Manufacturing environment.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of software including MRP, and online sourcing tools.
* Proactive attitude.
* High attention to detail.
* Handling large files with confidential data.
* Excellent and demonstrable knowledge of interpreting electronic and mechanical design data. Ability to review product documentation and identify errors, omissions and improvements.

Salary Expectations: £36,000 DOE
