I am currently representing a top engineering company who are seeking to recruit a Testing & Commissioning Engineer. To provide testing & commissioning services to the Hinkley Point C project.

To manage within the parameters of CIBSE Guide M and standard industry practices. Reporting in line with BSRIA reporting procedures and CIBSE Guide M.

Accountabilities and keys tasks:

- Ensure the successful testing & commissioning of all EDGs in line with all statutory and recognised industry standard.
- Organise and plan for timely a execution of Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities as per project &contract requirement.
- Review project scope and specification to develop strategy for pre-commissioning & Commissioning and project close out.
- Coordinate with technical & QA teams for timely and efficient execution of all pre-commissioning tests and ensure all records are signed by client and properly maintained as per project requirement for handling over and close out.
- Preparation and carry out the pre-commissioning test phases, reduce unpredictable measurements and improve system reliability.
- Participate in follow-up of the test and test reports, the methodology and the criteria of appreciation.
- Carry out the tests and commissioning in order to meet the functional and performance requirements of the Hinkley Point C Power Plant.
- Ensure all Parties are aware of commissioning requirements and commissioning schedule.
- Support the Project Managers in all aspects related to project close out, and handover.
- Witness all required tests and produce the commissioning report.
- Monitor and manage all log books, training programme, tests and reports throughout the project life.

Key Requirements:

- Previous experience within the Mechanical and Electrical Comissioning procedures.
- Experience working within the Nuclear sector.
- Proven track record with a recognised contractor / commissioning management organisation
- Detailed knowledge of mechanical, electrical and ELV services
