Salary: £41,180pa
Hours: Full time days + supernumerary time

Time Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity in the Norbury area of South West London for a Unit Manager with a highly prestigious care provider.

The Care Home offers a wide range of care services, including nursing, convalescence, palliative, dementia and respite care. The home also provides specialist care for individuals with learning disabilities, Hearing Impairment, Speech Impairment, and Visual Impairment.

The home is looking for some that is strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills, who is good at delegating and complies with the companies policies and procedures, to ensure the highest standard of care at all times.

As the Unit Manager your duties include:

* Leading your team and taking charge of all care activity in your designated unit
* Maintaining accurate records whilst delivering high care standards
* Assessing the physical, mental and social needs of all residents
* Overseeing junior staff within the unit, mentoring and training
* Assessments and Pre Assessments
* Acting as the point of contact for the unit
* Ensuring service delivery and safety of the unit
* Liaising with medical professionals and family members

As a Clinical Lead Nurse:

Firstly and foremost you must be a Registered Nurse - RGN qualified with an active NMC pin. You will come from a care home background with experience of working with elderly and dementia, with a minimum of a years' experience in a staff nurse/senior role or a nurse management position. You will have experience of managing staffing levels and overseeing nurses.
