Cook/Teaching Assistant Carrick
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and knowledgeable cook with experience of working with challenging/SEN pupils. You must be able to interact with the students and communicate in a clear manner. Your role will require you to prepare, cook and serve meals to students and staff, as well as the ordering of food.
In addition to relevant food production and food safety qualification you should be able to demonstrate experience in helping to create healthy, nutritious, home-cooked meals and cater for all dietary requirements.
Previous experience in this field is desirable, though applications are welcomed from people with commitment and aptitude who wish to work in this area. The successful candidate will be mainly based in the kitchen where students are taught 'Home Cooking Skills’ by a specialist teacher and school lunch is prepared and cooked.
