Our marketing team consists of 36 specialists all working together to support 5,000 employees across 12 different regions and this team is currently looking to hire a permanent advertising manager.

Your new role
On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to take ownership of all UK sector and regional on and offline advertising including supporting with client branded purchasing as appropriate. You will be working closely with the Head of Advertising, Regional MD’s, Channel Leads, the Planning team and the media agency. You will be expected to negotiate best value print advertising / job board packages / online display inventory / programmatic advertising & PPC on behalf of Hays UK&I. As an analytical thinker, you will use insight and analysis to obtain buy-in from the business, optimise campaign performance and continually demonstrate return-on-investment. You will take responsibility for ensuring all contract and deliverable deadlines are met and as an expert in digital advertising, the role will be to assess competition, our history in this space and present opportunities to support us in building this as part of the overall strategy. On occasion you will be responsible for digital advertising pilots as well as providing social media advertising support. This role does include the responsibility of managing and developing the Marketing Executive and Marketing Coordinator who is responsible for the print buying and scheduling, negotiation of some of the job board contracts and a UK wide mailbox including the administration and reporting of all job boards, LinkedIn and the multi-post system.

What you need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must have proven success in delivering on and offline advertising campaigns to support a complex corporate environment. You will have solid experience in media planning, buying, negotiation and implementation as well as campaign analysis and ROI measurement.
