EFG Foodservice is an independent family owned foodservice company established in 1853 serving London and Hertfordshire. Our customers include schools, hotels, restaurants and hospitals, supplying them with a range of Ambient, Chilled, Frozen and Non-Food goods.
We are currently looking for a Buying Assistant to join our team, based at our main depot in East London. This role will involve working with our Buyer ensuring that orders are placed with our suppliers efficiently, reviewing stock levels, working with our Sales team to monitor requirements and carrying out general office duties.
The successful candidate will be comfortable with computers, using Word, Outlook, Excel as well as the company database. They will be personable and polite, building positive working relationships with EFG staff and suppliers. Previous experience is desirable but not necessary - we are primarily looking for a candidate who is eager and quick to learn, computer literate and who will make a positive impact on our team.
