Credit Risk Analyst - Real Estate
This organisation is a well renowned global bank based in the City of London. They are looking for a credit risk analyst to sit within the highly profitable real estate finance team. You will be joining an established team in London whose portfolio covers an array of transactions ranging from institutional funds from Real Estate sponsors to larger regional transactions from North, South and the Midlands.
The team looks at large and complex bilateral and/or syndicated transactions with a debt size exceeding £10M. You will be assessing and rating transactions across the UK; making decisions using your own delegated authority or making recommendations to committees or a higher delegated authority holder where necessary. You will also have manage a portfolio of around 30-40 names across real estate. Additionally, you will rate transactions aligned with organisational risk appetite and structure to ensure consistency with risk standards implemented across the real estate finance group portfolio.
To be successful for this position, you must have demonstrable experience as a credit risk analyst within Real Estate. You will have a strong understanding and experience of bilateral / club and syndicated facilities in addition to knowledge of typical corporate banking products; namely interest rate swaps and FX. Furthermore, you will have a deep understanding of financial forecasting methodology and credit rating interpretation with knowledge of LMA style facility and security documentation.
