Front End Web Developer - HTML5, CSS 3, Less/Sass, Agile/Scrum. London, Permanent. £45k - £65k +Excellent Benefits inc Flexible Working.

Global Insurance Company currently seeks a Front End Developer / Front End Web Developer to assist in the delivery and enhancement of a range of web based services for brokers and customers who seek insurance policies and services.

Working within the Web Development team you use your experience in Front End Web Development using HTML 5, CSS 3, Less and/or Sass to deliver white labelled platform implementations as required by the customers of the reinsurance business. Working closely with both the UX team and the core application development team you will work to make enhancements within an Agile/Scrum, TDD (Test Driven Development) environment and drive out delivery of the Front End work to meet contemporary Mobile responsive standards. Additionally, there may be some integration of server-side technologies such as Javascript and JQuery utilising Frameworks such as Angular.js or React.js but experience in these areas is not essential if you have strong Front End development expertise combined with an appreciation for UX.

We are searching for a Front End Web Developer who has a strong understanding of building robust front end systems using HTML, CSS and Less/Sass within an Agile/Scrum environment. You will possess very strong core HTML 5 and CSS 3 coding expertise and ideally have delivered a number of mobile responsive systems / sites utilising either Less or Sass. You would ideally have worked within a Test Driven Development environment and also have gained some exposure to UX design and consultancy. Any experience of the Insurance or Financial Services sectors would be beneficial although non-essential as we are able to consider experience from within all industry sectors.
