Category Manager / Marketing Consultant
Due to continued expansion, my client is looking for a talented marketing consultant who has worked within the marketing or category management functions of a food/drink company.
The successful candidate will be working with a wide variety of companies across a broad range of food and drink categories. The role will focus on identifying the “So What” from either data or desk research in conjunction with the client to deliver value-added analysis and insights. The role is office based with some travel required dependent on the type of project.
Required skills and attributes
For the role, you would need commercial acumen, the ability to foster client relationships, experience in analysing quantitative/qualitative data, capability to assimilate a wide range of desk research to identify what are the key issues and how the insight can be used to the client’s advantage in the marketplace. A high standard in Excel and PowerPoint will be required.
Up to £48k – dependent on experience. Benefits include pension and private healthcare.
