General Sales Manager - Construction Materials - £32-35K + £8k + Car

The Role: The successful General Sales Manager will be selling a full range of heavyside building materials into sub-contractors and builders in the main; you will also spend around a third of your time managing a network of builders merchants. You will be talking to project managers, branch staff and buyers in a role which is an even split between account management and business development. Full training is provided along with excellent sales career prospects as they continue to grow further.

The Company: This well-established construction manufacturer provides a range of heavyside building materials and now seeks a new General Sales Manager in the North West. Their products are commonly specified on some of the best building projects around and they are the clear market leader.

For this General Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales skills
  • You must have sold construction products into builders merchants, architects or contractors
  • Sales of heavyside products is preferred
  • You will be outgoing and highly determined in your sales approach
