I am looking for a Superstar General Manager to look after a cluster of Branches including this FLAGSHIP Hub.

We have a great opportunity for a General Manager at our flagship branch in Reading. Reading is not only a trading branch, providing excellent service to our customers, but also acts as a distribution hub for a number of branches within the Thames Valley area contributing to delivering excellent service across the branches through a highly effective supply chain and logistics solution.
This role will require the Manager to effectively manage and develop both aspects of the operation. Reading is a strategic branch for Graham that delivers on the brands’ commitment to customers and colleagues. One of the largest and most successful branches in the country, as a result of internal promotion a great opportunity exists for the right individual to lead the site to the next level of customer service and operational excellence in a challenging and ever changing market.
The branches strength lies in its people (Knowledge & Customer Service skills) and no more so than the General Manager who pulls all things together and delivers a huge result - Year after Year! What will I be doing in the role?
As the General Manager of our largest branch within the UK, you’ll be responsible for developing the branch sales performance through focus on 4 key areas:
• Continuing to build strong relationships with our existing customers, as well as developing the customer base
• Leading, inspiring and developing your team to maximise their personal potential and to create a strong customer experience
• Achieve the highest level of branch operational excellence
• Manage and coach the hub Operational team to ensure an excellent order and delivery service to our customers across the Thames Valley Family.

• Great experience managing a large merchant branch, ideally a Hub
• Strong commercial and operational skills and abilities
• Excellent customer ethos
• Strong leadership capability
• Good understanding of logistics and supply chain operation at branch level
• Ideally strong understanding of the plumbing and heating market
• Strong communication skills with the ability to identify, engage with and influence key stakeholders
