This is a truly greenfield opportunity for a procurement professional with strong experience in Retail Logistics to establish and manage the Logistics/GNFR spend for a luxury retailer based in Central London. This a standalone role reporting to the Logistics Director but there is huge expectation that the position will become permanent by successfully embedding processes across the business that will build the foundations of a centralised procurement team.

This role is not about hard line cost savings but is about establishing long-term relationships with stakeholders and suppliers as well as developing robust procurement strategies that support the wider business objectives. A knowledge of luxury retail and experience in E-Commerce and B2C environments is essential in this role!

Core Responsibilities

* Manage Spend across Logistics and GNFR, acting as a key advisor to other departments
* Implement 'best practice' procurement processes and support on tendering exercises for sourcing suppliers outside of Logistics department
* Develop sourcing strategy for key Logistics projects and ensure buy-in from key stakeholders
* Renegotiate existing contracts and develop a partnership with current/future third party providers

Essentials Skills and Experience

* Logistics procurement expert with additional experience across all areas of Indirect/GNFR spend
* Knowledge of luxury retail, e-commerce, B2C and working in a fast-paced, pressurized environment
* Successful negotiator and influencer with proven experience in developing long-term, value-add agreements
* Experience in greenfield environment desirable
* Degree educated, CIPS qualified
* Independent right to work in the UK
